Tell us about what you do at Giglets
I have a great job as Education Engagement Lead at Giglets which means that I support schools with using the resource. This includes running training sessions and events for both learners and teachers, as well as providing school specific support. I really enjoy the opportunity to work so closely with schools and to see, first-hand, how much children and young people enjoy reading with Giglets!
How did you find yourself working for an EdTech company?
I am a former primary school teacher and have always been passionate about using digital technology to enhance learning. I used Giglets throughout my time teaching and saw how much children engaged with the wide variety of texts. They particularly enjoyed the animations and theme music which really bring the stories to life! My job as Education Engagement Lead allows me the opportunity to continue to support the education sector, as well as learners, by encouraging reading in a fun and engaging way.
What are you most proud of since joining Giglets?
I have joined such an enthusiastic team of colleagues, who all share the same passion of supporting our schools.
If you weren't at Giglets, what would you be doing?
I think I would be teaching in a primary school! It's another vert rewarding job.

Enjoyable, interesting and challenging.
