Giglets is delighted to invite you to a free, live storytelling event on Teams in celebration of International Mother Tongue Day! This global day highlights the importance of celebrating linguistic and cultural diversity and promoting multilingualism.

Join Giglets for a storytelling event featuring Aharsi: The Bengal Tiger, a wonderful tale about a caged tiger who needs a little help from his leopard friend to remember what it means to be a Bengal Tiger. This story highlights themes of identity, friendship, and resilience. Teachers can view the story in advance on Giglets here.

The event is open exclusively to Powys schools and is most suitable for pupils aged 8–13.

You can choose to have your camera turned on so that your pupils can see themselves and other schools in our wonderful Powys community, or you may wish to turn your camera off and participate via the chat function.
