World Gaelic Week, 19th - 25th February

World Gaelic Week is a nationwide week of celebration, giving children and adults the opportunity to learn about the Scottish Gaelic language and culture. Giglets will be supporting Seachdain na Gàidhlig by hosting two special events.

Learn About Gaelic with Giglets

For schools less familiar with Gaelic, join Ceri and Seona from Giglets to learn about the Gaelic language and culture. The event will feature a Giglets story too: a great opportunity to learn a few Gaelic words this World Gaelic Week. This event will take place at 9.30 am on Friday 23rd February.

Storytelling Event for Gaelic Medium Schools

Giglets warmly invites Gaelic medium schools to a Gaelic storytelling event featuring a new story published especially for Seachdain na Gàidhlig. 

This event will take place at 2 pm on Thursday 22nd February.
