Giglets Events

Giglets is delighted to invite you and your pupils to a free, live Earth Day storytelling event! 

Join Giglets for a reading of 'The Legend of Mafumeira', a story about some loggers who let their greed overrule their respect for the forest. Nature finds a way to teach them a valuable lesson!

The event is open to all pupils, but will appeal most to those aged 9–11.

If you are joining from one of our Giglets schools, you are welcome to read and share the story with your pupils before the event. ‘The Legend of Mafumeira’ can be found here.

There will be an opportunity for pupils to enter our Earth Day competition too; find out more during the event!

You can choose to have your camera turned on so that your pupils can see themselves and other schools in our wonderful community, or you may wish to turn your camera off and still participate via the chat function.
