Starting with Giglets
Every school using Giglets has an Education Engagement Lead - a qualified teacher, there to provide any training and support needed throughout your subscription.
We regularly run online events that teachers can access. These events include 'refresher' webinars where teachers can review how to navigate the platform, best practice webinars that focus on getting the most out of Giglets features in the classroom and other networking events where Giglets users can share best practice with one another.
Getting started with Giglets is very straight forward!
Set up
Once your Giglets subscription is arranged, you can fire ahead and set up Giglets accounts for your staff and pupils. The Giglets Admin, usually a member of Senior Management or literacy lead, manages all the school accounts.
The Giglets Help Desk is always on hand to support with set up and can be contacted on support@giglets.com or on +44 (0)1563 598 222.
Training
Your training session, 'An Introduction to Giglets', can be arranged at a time that best suits you, whether that be during an inservice day or as an after school, twilight session. Initial training covers key features of Giglets and how to use them in your context as well as top tips for implementation and getting started.

After training, teachers will be ready to use Giglets to support school aims and improvement priorities.
Over the course of a year, events are regularly available and your Education Engagement Lead will check in with you to ensure your school is getting the most out of Giglets.
